Hall set out for a functionKnown locally as ‘Dell Lane HQ’, the Scout & Guide HQ is in a quiet private road behind Stoneleigh’s local shopping centre – ideally placed for the Fish & Chip shop and late opening Co-op & Budgens, and adjacent to the bus stop and train station. Use Red Planet Travel to plan your journey to Dell Lane.

We use the Hall weekday term-time evenings but, at most other times, it is available (and well used)  for private hire. There is a single rate of £20.00 per hour (from July 2018) for use of the Hall, or £12.00 per hour for regular use.

Ideal for pilates, keep fit, badminton, yoga, dancing, general meetings and children’s parties during the day – priority is given to children’s parties on weekend afternoons; 1530-1830 Saturdays and 1230-1730 Sundays.

Here are more details about the hall and its facilities, pictures and, if you’re stuck for ideas, details of children’s entertainers who’ve been to Dell Lane before. Sorry, but we don’t do ‘show-rounds’ for single bookings.

If you would like to hire our Hall, we’d love to hear from you. Firstly phone or email to check availability for a specific date/time and to make a provisional booking; then you can download the booking form and our terms and conditions before completing the deal. Sorry, but we will only hold a provisional booking for 5 days pending receipt of the booking form and payment – it’s just not fair to others looking to book our Hall otherwise.

There is also the possibility of hiring our detached meeting room on a regular basis – click for details.

Our youth organisations use the premises most evenings during term time, paying a rent from their ‘subs’ which represents a considerable proportion of their own income. By using our premises you will make a very significant additional contribution to the running costs of the building, and directly support the local Scout & Guide Associations.

Sorry, but in consideration for our users generally, we do not let to teenage parties, any ‘one-off’ hire after 8:00pm, nor do we allow alcohol or animals on the premises. Check the last three pictures in our ‘General’ gallery to see why not!
