Known locally as ‘Dell Lane’, our HQ is in a quiet private road behind Stoneleigh’s local shopping centre – ideally placed for the Fish & Chip shop and late opening Co-op and Budgens, as well as the local bus stop and train station! Available for private hire as well as being our weekly meeting place, Dell Lane is also the local community hall for central Stoneleigh.

Male toiletThe buildings comprise the main Hall with its kitchen; separate male, female and accessible toilets (with baby changing); and a grassed area to the rear which has automated lighting.

The whole building is on one floor – no steps inside and a ramped entrance, and in summer 2008 we incorporated an accessible toilet with baby changing as well as refurbishing the other toilets and the entrance hallway.

The hallThe hall is 14.625m x 9.878m, 5.30m high at the apex and 3.30m to the top of the walls, and holds about 90 people seated around tables, an absolute maximum of 150 theatre or buffet style for daytime bookings. Bouncy castles for children’s parties are welcome and are often used – inside or out.

Inside the hall there are 8 large Gopak tables (182cm x 76cm x 76cm high), 14 small ones (91cm x 61cm x 70cm high), and 53 stackable chairs (all with a seat height of 44cm). Additional chairs and tables are in store and can be provided to seat a maximum of 100 people (the most the hall can comfortably accommodate around tables.) We have cutlery for 60 and crockery (large and small plates, tea and coffee cups)  for about the same number, together with teapots and jugs for squash. The kitchen has a four burner gas cooker with oven, two sinks, two fridges, an electric kettle and microwave, as well as a variety of pots, pans, baking sheets and trays etc. Full central heating with programmed temperatures set for each activity.

Dell Lane is a private road which can be used to access the HQ; more extensive free parking is available on the Broadway about 50 metres away, although this does have a two hour limit which the Council sometimes enforce. The Station inn nearby has a Pay & Display car park. We do not have permission to use the private forecourts opposite the HQ for parking. Please do not park there or anywhere else that is clearly private property. The local bus to Epsom and Worcester Park runs hourly, Monday-Saturday, and trains to Epsom, Worcester Park and beyond run every 15 minutes Monday-Saturday, every 30 minutes Sunday.
