The buildings comprise the main Hall with its kitchen; separate male, female and accessible toilets (with baby changing); and a grassed area to the rear which has automated lighting.
The whole building is on one floor – no steps inside and a ramped entrance, and in summer 2008 we incorporated an accessible toilet with baby changing as well as refurbishing the other toilets and the entrance hallway.
The hall is 14.625m x 9.878m, 5.30m high at the apex and 3.30m to the top of the walls, and holds about 90 people seated around tables, an absolute maximum of 150 theatre or buffet style for daytime bookings. Bouncy castles for children’s parties are welcome and are often used – inside or out.
Inside the hall there are 8 large Gopak tables (182cm x 76cm x 76cm high), 8 small ones (91cm x 61cm x 70cm high), and 45 stackable chairs (all with a seat height of 44cm). Additional chairs are in store and can be provided to seat a maximum of 75 people (the most the hall can comfortably accommodate around tables.) There is only a small amount of cutlery and crockery. It is advised that hirers bring disposable items. The kitchen has a four burner gas cooker with oven, two sinks, one fridge, an electric kettle and microwave, as well as a variety of pots, pans, baking sheets and trays etc. Full central heating with programmed temperatures set for each activity.
Dell Lane is a private road where there is limited parking; free parking is available on the Broadway about 50 metres away, although this does have a two hour limit until 6.30pm. The Station pub nearby has a Pay & Display car park. The single yellow lines on adjoining roads do not apply at the weekend. We do not have permission to use the private forecourts opposite the HQ for parking. Please do not park there or anywhere else that is clearly private property. The local bus to Epsom and Worcester Park runs hourly, Monday-Saturday, and trains to Epsom, Worcester Park and beyond run every 15 minutes Monday-Saturday, every 30 minutes Sunday.
